This is the Lordly House built in 1896. It was originally known as “Evergreen Hall”.
Its most noted resident was Edwina Lordly-Chamier (1890-1981), who until 2002 was the oldest athlete to participate in the Winter Olympics.
She was a member on the Canadian Ladies Ski Team at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
The house now is a museum and well worth a visit.
